  • The firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support its business litigation practice. This role is well suited to an experienced paralegal with a strong litigation background who is looking for long-term stability with a firm that invests in its people
  • candidates with a history of longevity at prior firms are strongly preferred.
This is a business/commercial litigation-focused role, not a personal injury or bodily injury practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Meet with attorneys, clients, and other professionals on assigned cases, including evidence collection Draft legal documents including motions, affidavits, and discovery Research and analyze statutes, regulations, case law, and other legal sources; provide written analysis to attorneys Manage all aspects of discovery : drafting and responding to discovery requests and subpoenas, compiling, organizing, and coding/indexing documents Prepare, organize, and maintain case files (evidence, exhibits, depositions, pleadings, etc.) Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including attending trials, hearings, depositions, and mediations Oversee case file organization and Case Management Spreadsheets, delegating to and supervising department assistants/file clerks as needed
Qualifications:
Paralegal Certificate/Degree, or 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience In-depth knowledge of Florida and U.S. District Court laws, procedures, and electronic discovery Experience across all stages of litigation
  • intake, discovery, and trial E-discovery database and litigation support software experience required (e.
g., Relativity, Summation) Experience coordinating trial/arbitration logistics, including workspace setup and vendor coordination Experience with e-filing and court/administrative agency filings Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills; ability to work well under pressure and manage competing deadlines Discretion, sound judgment, and ability to maintain confidentiality Availability for occasional overtime and travel A bit about us:
