Job Description
Job DescriptionPersonal Injury Litigation Paralegal - 2+ Years' ExperienceWe are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal with at least 2 years experience handling large volume PI cases from intake through resolution. Ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a busy caseload while providing compassionate client service. Candidate should also be able to work in a team-driven environment on various tasks across multiple practice areas as needed.
Responsibilities include:
Managing case files from initial intake through litigation and settlement.
Drafting correspondence, pleadings, discovery, and settlement demands; summarizing medical records and bills.
Communicating with clients, providers, insurance adjusters, and lien holders; scheduling hearings, mediations, and depositions.
Requesting medical documentation (records, bills, reports, etc.), liens, and other case specific documentation.
Strong knowledge of medical records, terminology, and the personal injury litigation process.
Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This position is NOT a remote position or hybrid role, and candidates are expected to report and work out of the Raleigh office location during normal business hours 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Pay is commensurate with experience.
