Litigation Paralegal

Kopka Law Group is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Paralegal in our Farmington Hills, Michigan office. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, detail oriented, and dependable professional who is eager to play an integral role in supporting our attorneys and contributing to the success of our team.

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for a heavy civil litigation desk. Managing the litigation process for each of your files. Drafting legal documents such as motions and discovery. Working with medical records (summaries and chronologies). Scheduling Independent Medical Examinations and expert depositions. Assisting with trial preparation.

Including but not limited to:

trial notebooks, exhibits, jury instructions, and motions in limine. Assisting with deposition preparation.

Required Skills:

Knowledge of Outlook and Filevine, or other law practice management software. Minimum of five years' insurance defense experience. Ability to stay organized while multi-tasking. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. We are a mid-size firm with a small firm feel. Our culture is one of high flexibility.
