Hybrid with significant work-from-home flexibility Our client, a growing commercial and civil litigation law firm in Orlando, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its team. The firm consists of 11 attorneys, many of whom previously practiced together at a large law firm before launching their own practice. The attorneys have built a sophisticated and growing litigation practice, making this an excellent opportunity to become part of the firm during an important stage of its growth. The firm offers considerable flexibility, with the potential to work remotely three to four days per week. Many members of the team already work remotely. There is no billable-hour requirement for this position. The ideal candidate will be proactive, trustworthy, highly organized, and comfortable managing responsibilities independently. The firm is seeking a true team player who anticipates needs, takes ownership of assignments, and follows matters through to completion. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive support on commercial and civil litigation matters Manage litigation cases from inception through trial Draft, organize, and assist with pleadings, discovery, motions, subpoenas, and correspondence Coordinate written discovery, document collection, review, and production Assist with deposition, mediation, hearing, and trial preparation Organize exhibits, witness materials, deposition summaries, and trial binders Electronically file documents in Florida state and federal courts Maintain litigation calendars and monitor court deadlines Apply applicable court procedures, local rules, and filing requirements Coordinate with attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, courts, vendors, and experts Maintain organized electronic case files and matter records Proactively identify upcoming deadlines, case needs, and required follow-up Qualifications Prior experience as a Litigation Paralegal (4+ years) Strong commercial or civil litigation experience Thorough knowledge of discovery and litigation case management Meaningful trial-preparation experience Proficiency with Florida state and federal e-filing systems Familiarity with applicable court procedures and rules Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills Ability to manage competing deadlines with limited supervision Proactive, trustworthy, and collaborative approach Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work Compensation and Benefits Base salary of $80,000-$110,000, depending on experience Hybrid schedule with the potential to work remotely three to four days per week No billable-hour requirement Comprehensive benefits package Opportunity to join a growing practice during an exciting stage of the firm's development Collaborative team of experienced attorneys Meaningful responsibility and long-term growth potential This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigation paralegal who wants sophisticated work, substantial flexibility, and the chance to become an important part of a growing firm.
