Job Description
Hall & Evans, LLC, currently has an opportunity for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team in New Mexico. We are seeking a paralegal with New Mexico litigation experience. Candidates should have excellent MS Office skills, well-developed communication abilities, strong attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment. This position can offer a hybrid working schedule (3 days/office and 2 days/home) after successfully completing the training period. Requirements Civil litigation experience with a defense firm, preferred; New Mexico civil litigation experience, preferred; Obtain, review, and analyze medical, financial, tax, and employment records, or any other relevant documents and records; Prepare medical record summaries; Draft pleadings, discovery, and routine correspondence; Experience billing time; Well-developed writing and research skills; Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook; Ability to stay focused on numerous details while maintaining a high level of accuracy; Ability to anticipate attorneys' needs, identify problems, and find solutions; Ability to work with limited supervision, independently or with a team; Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with a wide variety of people; Ability to exercise a high degree of tact, discretion, and sound judgment; Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize a high-volume workload to meet time-critical deadlines; Exceptional interpersonal skills with a mature, professional, and personable presentation and demeanor; High level of integrity and personal accountability; Flexibility to work overtime as necessary to meet deadlines; Excellent attendance and reliability; ABA Paralegal Certificate, preferred; Bachelor's or Associate's degree, preferred; and Ability to lift 25 lbs. when necessary.
