Requirements for the position include:
- ENO Insurance
- Availability from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with weekends as needed
- At least two years of experience
- Proof of a valid Notary Public License
- Strong communication skills Professionalism, tact, discretion, task prioritization, schedule flexibility, and mobile device proficiency are essential qualities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Interpret the signer's willingness, consciousness, and competency regarding the documents.
- Familiarize oneself with common notary legal documents, including last wills and living wills, mortgages, loan signings, power of attorney, durable power of attorney, deeds, and motor vehicle titles.
- Take acknowledgments, verify signatures on oath or affirmation, and administer oaths and affirmations.
- Witness or attest signatures.
- Verify or authenticate a copy of a record or deposition.
- Record a protest of a negotiable instrument.
- Attend signings.
- Dress in Business Casual or Professional attire.
- Capture photographs.
- Print documents.
