Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Wiedner & McAuliffe is looking for a dynamic personality to join us as a Paralegal with our Workers' Compensation team in our St. Louis Office. Ready for daily challenges? No day is ever going to be the same. This position requires strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to handle a high volume of work in a team-oriented environment. Our Paralegals are not run of the mill, we expect engagement and collaboration with our Attorneys.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
analyzing newly received claim materials, preparing medical summaries, assisting with trial preparation, conducting legal research and abstracting depositions. Are you innovative and efficient? We are looking for an individual with the technical aptitude to quickly learn and master our system. A strong foundation of basic computer skills are a must.
