Experienced Family Law Paralegal K+S Family Law Group Castle Pines, Colorado Full-Time |
Hybrid Schedule Available Salary Range:
$50,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience About Us K+S Family Law Group is a boutique family law firm located in Castle Pines, Colorado. We focus on high-asset and complex family law matters and take pride in serving our community with professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail. We are looking for an experienced paralegal to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable managing a busy family law caseload in a collaborative environment. Position Overview This is a full-time paralegal position for a motivated individual with experience in family law or civil litigation. The successful candidate will assist attorneys with case management, drafting, client communication, document organization, court filings, and trial preparation.   • Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, correspondence, and occasional briefs in family law matters
  • Managing case files from intake through resolution
  • Using Clio for billing and calendar management
  • SharePoint/ Onedrive for file and document management
  • Organizing and maintaining legal documents, discovery, evidence, and case materials
  • Preparing and filing pleadings through the Colorado Courts E-Filing system
  • Coordinating calendars, deadlines, hearings, meetings, and case-related tasks
  • Communicating professionally and kindly with clients, attorneys, colleagues, court personnel, and third-party professionals
  • Assisting with trial preparation, including organizing evidence, preparing exhibits, and creating exhibit binders for attorney use
  • Supporting attorneys with the day-to-day management of active family law cases
  • Working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced legal environment Qualifications
  • Prior paralegal experience, preferably in family law
  • Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence
  • Familiarity with Clio or another case management software system
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple matters at once
  • Professional, courteous, and clear communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency with legal document organization and case file management
  • Familiarity with Colorado Courts E-Filing preferred Required Experience Paralegal experience: 1-5 years in a legal or family law setting Reception, office, or administrative experience: 1 year required Bachelor's degree: Preferred Schedule This is a full-time position with a 40-hour work week.
Our office hours are:
Monday-Thursday:
8:00 AM-5:00
PM MST Friday:
8:00 AM-12:00 PM MST Employees are expected to be available and productive during active work hours. Work Location This position offers a hybrid in-person/remote schedule. The employee must be able to commute to our Castle Pines office for in-person work at least two days per week.
Compensation Salary range:
$50,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits
