Responsibilities Assist with family law discovery processes, including document collection, review, and organization Support trial preparation by organizing case files, exhibits, and relevant documentation Conduct client intake interviews to gather necessary information and facilitate communication Manage case deadlines and maintain accurate case records using legal management software such as Clio and Asana Coordinate with the attorney on case strategy and administrative tasks to ensure smooth workflow Draft legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings as needed Maintain professional communication with clients, courts, and other parties involved in cases Stay informed about developments in family law practice and legal procedures Experience Prior experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, preferably within family law Knowledge of discovery procedures specific to family law cases Proficiency with legal technology tools such as Clio, Asana, and Outlook Experience with client intake processes and trial preparation is highly desirable Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team Certification or training related to paralegal studies is preferred but not required This role provides a rewarding opportunity for candidates eager to develop their legal career within a supportive environment dedicated to family law practice.
