The position requires knowledge of legal terminology, documentation and records management, familiarity with local and federal court systems, and preparation of appropriate pleadings related thereto. Candidate must have strong organizational skills, work well under pressure, excellent written and communication skills, and attention to detail. The ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. You must have previous experience working up litigation cases. Duties Assist attorneys with all aspects of case preparation and management. Draft, review, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, contracts, discovery requests, and correspondence with meticulous attention to detail. Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all information is current and easily accessible. Draft and manage subpoenas and other legal documents. Conduct legal research and gather relevant documentation. Summarize medical records, bills, and supporting documents; create medical chronologies and bill summaries. Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in the cases. Exhibit excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Excel. Proficient in legal research and writing. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, friendly environment.
