What they do
A Paralegal or Legal Assistant assists attorneys and law offices with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to legal research and writing. Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Location:
New York, NY •Preference for a hybrid schedule work onsite Tues-Wed-Thurs. •Remote option will be considered. ?Pay:
$45-$55/hour ? Contract | 2+Month Engagement What You'll Be Doing:
✅ Reviewing title commitments, surveys, and lien searches ✅ Managing transaction and closing checklists across multiple projects ✅ Coordinating diligence requests, data rooms, and funding deliverables ✅ Supporting construction loans, project financings, and secured transactions ✅ Preparing UCC filings and tracking post-closing requirements ✅ Drafting and managing leases, easements, licenses, and SNDAs ✅ Maintaining LLCs, corporate records, and entity governance documents ✅ Collaborating with lenders, investors, developers, and outside counselRequirements What We're Looking For:
✔ 3+ years of paralegal experience ✔ Strong commercial real estate transaction background ✔ Experience reviewing title and survey matters ✔ Hands-on involvement with lending, project finance, or secured transactions ✔ Ability to independently manage multiple closings and competing deadlines ✔ Exceptional organization, communication, and project management skillsBonus Points For:
