We are a small, family-owned law firm run by a husband-and-wife attorney team in downtown St. Petersburg, FL. Our firm is dedicated to providing high-quality legal services in general civil litigation, including business, commercial, and real estate matters. We value professionalism, responsiveness, and a positive, team-oriented work environment. We take pride in building strong relationships with our clients and supporting one another in our day-to-day work. The Paralegal will work closely with attorneys to support all phases of civil litigation, from case intake through trial preparation. Your expertise will help streamline case management, conduct thorough legal research, draft and review documents for attorney finalization, conduct record searches and manage e-filings and recordings. Additional responsibilities will include assistance with maintaining critical date schedules and communication with clients. Duties Draft, review, and file legal documents, including agreements, pleadings, motions, and discovery. Manage case files and maintain organized records. Assist with calendar management, including scheduling and tracking critical deadlines and court dates. Coordinate and track deadlines, court filings, and case timelines. Assist with discovery, including preparing responses and organizing productions. Serve as a professional point of contact by handling incoming calls, directing inquiries, and communicating effectively with clients and third parties Conduct legal research as needed. Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit organization and witness coordination. Requirements Proven paralegal experience in the area of general civil litigation. Proficiency in legal research tools. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; proofreading and transcription abilities are essential. Effective interviewing skills to gather pertinent client information accurately. Administrative experience supporting law office functions such as filing, data entry, phone etiquette, and clerical duties.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
