A Paralegal or Legal Assistant assists attorneys and law offices with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to legal research and writing. Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Must be a good problem solver above all else.
  • Must be a quick learner.
  • Must be driven, able to work independently, and keep deadlines.
  • Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Will manage, organize, and maintain documents in electronic filing systems.
  • Will prepare and proofread correspondence and legal documents.
  • Will manage small caseload on a day-to-day basis, obtain all necessary documents, and prepare first draft of demand letter.
  • Will serve as primary contact for certain clients.
  • Will assist other support staff in their role as necessary.
  • One year's experience working for a personal injury law firm representing plaintiffs is a plus factor.
  • Litigation experience is a plus factor.
We offer a friendly business environment with a generous salary commensurate with experience. The right candidate will also be able to work remotely 1-2 days each week after initial onboarding is completed.
