A Paralegal or Legal Assistant assists attorneys and law offices with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to legal research and writing. Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

If you are motivated and can get the work done quickly and error free, then you might be able to complete all the work in as little as 4 hours average/day. If you want a few hours off in the morning to take your kids to school, to schedule appointments, or for any other reason, this can be accommodated. If you prefer to work in the evenings, this is also fine. So long as you get the work done and can work without supervision, you can have all the flexibility you want. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have most (if not all) of the following qualities/qualifications:- Proficient with Claude AI, or ability to quickly learn.
- 2 years of experience with debt collection, either for condo association firms or mortgage foreclosure firms.
- Ability to work independently with little oversight.
- Proven experience as a paralegal.
- Highly organized.
- Detail oriented.
- Extremely dependable.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Able to type quickly and accurately.
- Familiarity with State court filing systems (JEFS).
