Your Challenge… This is a new position and additional paralegal support for our growing firm. Your challenge will be to support a team of attorneys who will depend on the Litigation Paralegal to: Manage a case load of 40

• 50 cases Calendar hearing dates and filing deadlines with the courts Draft pleadings and discovery requests and responses Create and maintain discovery indexes, organize case files, analyze documents for production, etc.

Motion preparation and filing Organize legal files and interact with clerks of court, process services Collaborate with attorneys and other team members. Handle electronic filing and serving of pleading motions. Make diary entries. Conduct research and independently draft answers. Assist with scheduling Prepare medical chronology! Obtain service of process and assist with the issuance of summons and writs Daily client contact and communicating with the courts and opposing counsel as needed. Support our attorneys throughout the pre-trial, trial and settlement processes What Should You Bring to the Table… At least 4 years personal injury litigation file experience Bachelor's Degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent paralegal experience Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record Commitment to integrity, excellence, and the highest standards of ethics Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented, able to prioritize and manage time efficiently. Proficient with eFiling, scheduling and calendaring Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. Spanish speaking a plus, but not required. The Rewards….
