Job Description

Experienced Personal Injury Paralegal We are looking for a talented paralegal for our Personal Injury department. The hours for this position are 8:30-5:00 Monday-Friday. Pay is based on experience.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Preparing and drafting motions, mileage, hearing requests, documents, etc. Performing legal research Maintaining attorney calendars and case files Scheduling appointments, hearing appearances, and mediation/deposition hearings Serving as a liaison between the client and attorney, conducting client interviews and speaking with adjusters Preparing trial notebooks and providing assistance in trial settings Preparing and reviewing discovery packages, hearing APA briefs and exhibit attachments including disclosure statements, answers to interrogatories, and production requests Investigate income, expenses, and other pertinent client information by collecting, organizing and delivering documents necessary.
COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY
Maintain effective and consistent communication with clients Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills and must be capable of handling clients through difficult cases. Must communicate well with other professionals, such as insurance company personnel, and healthcare providers.
