What your future day will look like: Assist attorneys throughout all stages of commercial litigation, from case inception through trial and appeal. Maintain and organize case files, pleadings, correspondence, and litigation documents. Monitor court deadlines and manage litigation calendars. Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, subpoenas, notices, and other legal documents for attorney review. Coordinate filing of documents in state and federal courts, including electronic filings. Prepare and respond to discovery requests, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission. Assist with deposition preparation, including organizing exhibits and preparing deposition summaries. Conduct factual and legal research using online legal research tools. Analyze contracts, business records, and financial documents. Draft case summaries, timelines, and litigation reports. Support attorneys in developing case strategies and preparing for client meetings.
