Litigation Paralegal - Plaintiff's Personal Injury Christian & Christian | Greenville, South Carolina Full-Time | On-Site | Competitive Compensation & Excellent Benefits Christian & Christian is an established plaintiff's law firm in Greenville, South Carolina, representing individuals in personal injury and litigation matters. We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, highly organized paralegal who takes pride in their work, enjoys being an integral part of a litigation team, and wants to play a meaningful role in helping clients through some of the most difficult circumstances of their lives. Our ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a substantial caseload while maintaining excellent communication with clients, attorneys, and other members of the firm. Role As a Litigation Paralegal, you will work closely with our attorneys throughout the litigation process.
Responsibilities include:
Manage and organize an active caseload from litigation through resolution; Maintain regular, professional communication with clients and serve as an important point of contact throughout their cases; Assist attorneys with the preparation of pleadings, discovery, correspondence, motions, and other legal documents; Coordinate and assist with written discovery and document production; Maintain organized and accurate electronic and physical case files; Monitor case deadlines and proactively assist attorneys in moving cases forward; Manage litigation calendars, deadlines, and scheduling; Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, meetings, and other case-related events; Assist with preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials; Proofread and review documents for accuracy, consistency, and completeness; and Work collaboratively with attorneys and staff to provide exceptional service to our clients. What Christian & Christian Is Looking For The successful candidate will preferably have: 3+ years of law firm experience , with litigation and/or plaintiff's personal injury experience strongly preferred; A paralegal certificate and/or bachelor's degree; Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, legal documents, deadlines, and filing requirements; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Exceptional organizational, proofreading, and attention-to-detail skills; The ability to manage a large caseload and competing deadlines without sacrificing quality; A proactive approach to case management—the ability to anticipate what needs to happen next rather than simply waiting for direction; Strong computer and technology skills and the ability to learn and effectively use legal practice-management software; The ability to work independently while also being an effective member of a team; and A high degree of professionalism, discretion, integrity, and commitment to client service.
