George Sink Injury Lawyers are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Workers' Compensation Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will provide vital support in managing workers' compensation cases, ensuring smooth case progression, and maintaining accurate legal documentation. Duties Assist with the preparation, review, and management of workers' compensation claims, including filing documents and tracking case progress Conduct thorough legal research on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law related to workers' compensation law and other practice areas such as personal injury Draft legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and reports with precision and clarity Organize and maintain case files using the case management software, Litify Interview clients, witnesses, and medical providers to gather pertinent information for case development Coordinate with insurance carriers, medical providers, and other stakeholders to facilitate case handling Manage calendar deadlines, court filings, and procedural requirements to ensure timely case progression Handle confidential information with integrity while maintaining compliance with privacy standards Experience Proven paralegal experience supporting workers' compensation law or related fields such as personal injury or civil litigation Strong knowledge of procedural law and legal research Familiarity with legal case management software and document management systems Experience conducting client interviews and drafting legal correspondence with excellent writing skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for document creation and communication Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple cases efficiently under tight deadlines Excellent phone etiquette and client communication skills to foster positive relationships Join our team if you are passionate about supporting clients through complex legal processes in a fast-paced environment.
