Job Description

Job description: The Bellamy Law Firm, a well-established law firm serving the Grand Strand community, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estate Planning and Probate Paralegal to join our Myrtle Beach office. We welcome applicants of all experience levels. We are currently taking applicants for either a full-time or part-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate with clients, attorneys, and court staff Open, organize, and maintain files from intake through resolution Assist attorneys with drafting relevant documents including letters, estate planning documents such as wills and trusts, prepare petitions, and other relevant paperwork Coordinate and organize large-scale document intake and production Oversee mail and file documents with the Probate Court and Register of Deeds Schedule and maintain a comprehensive calendar including deadlines, consults, client meetings, signings, and hearings Assist with client intake
Qualifications:
Ability to communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, and court staff Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active files simultaneously Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Prior experience in Probate or Litigation is preferred but not required (preference will be given to those with prior South Carolina experience) Proficiency with basic computer applications and office software including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, and PDF-XChange Editor or similar Experience with online filing systems including the e-filing system and Register of Deeds is preferred but not required Benefits•: Health and Dental Insurance, Employee and Dependent Coverage (with a portion being paid by employer). Compensation:
Annual Salary (paid hourly), commensurate on experience and skill level.
