Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized, professional, and self-motivated Receptionist/Legal Assistant to join our law practice. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to providing exceptional service to clients. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with our attorneys while playing a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office and efficient management of legal files. Responsibilities Greet clients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner Answer and direct incoming telephone calls Schedule appointments and maintain attorney calendars Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries Prepare routine correspondence and assist with general office documents Open and maintain client files, both electronic and paper Communicate with clients, courts, and other professionals regarding appointments and routine matters Perform data entry and maintain accurate client information Assist attorneys and staff with administrative tasks as needed Keep the reception area and common office areas organized and welcoming Qualifications Previous receptionist, administrative assistant, or office support experience preferred Experience in a law office is a plus but not required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a busy office Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel) Professional appearance and positive attitude High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus Benefits Paid time off Monday-Friday schedule Supportive and professional work environment Opportunity for growth within the firm If you are dependable, personable, and enjoy providing outstanding customer service in a professional office setting, we encourage you to apply.
