Job Description

Applicant Requirements:
"Career seeker" for a position with a constantly expanding highly reputable law firm.

Excellence in typing over 60 wpm and using windows, adobe, social media and all other current software, in other words a "computer junket". Experience of 5-10 years in preparing legal documents in personal injury cases such as court-complaints, discovery, and contingent fee contracts,
  • Conduct and gather relevant information for cases such as medical reports, employment information and assist our experts on the case.
  • Organize and maintain legal files and documents
  • Draft correspondence and communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal matters
  • experience with case management software.
  • Prepare and file court documents and other legal forms
  • Assist with the management of legal case files and calendars
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling appointments and managing correspondence.
  • Previous experience working as a paralegal or legal assistant is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation
  • Proficiency in using document management systems such as Lexis-Nexis or similar software
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of contract law and litigation procedures is a plus This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for the legal field.
