Job Description

Position Overview:
We are looking for a dependable and motivated Bilingual Legal Assistant to join our small law office. Fluency in English and Spanish is required. Must have basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and basic computer skills. Previous legal experience is not required since we provide on-the-job training. We only ask that you be eager to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer and transfer phone calls courteously and professionally (training provided). Manage email correspondence and scheduling using Microsoft Outlook. Perform basic filing, document organization, and data entry. Assist with translation and interpretation for Spanish-speaking clients. Maintain confidentiality of client information. Future Skill Development (with training): Assisting in preparing and formatting legal documents in Microsoft Word and WordPerfect. Supporting attorneys with case file management and administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
Bilingual in English and Spanish (required). Basic computer skills with Microsoft Word and other Office programs. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Good communication and organizational skills
