This role offers an exciting opportunity to support a diverse range of legal practices, including estate planning, environmental law, family law, litigation, and more. You will play a vital role in managing case files, conducting research, drafting legal documents, and providing administrative support to attorneys. Responsibilities Assist attorneys with case management across various practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, family law, and litigation. Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other research tools to support case development. Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, contracts, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and clarity. Manage and organize case files using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw; ensure all files are up-to-date and properly filed. Support client communication by scheduling meetings, preparing summaries, and handling confidential information with discretion. Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to procedural law requirements; proofread all materials thoroughly. Assist with court filings, document review, and preparation for hearings or depositions in civil litigation or other practice areas. Support attorneys in trial preparation by organizing exhibits, managing timelines, and coordinating logistics for hearings or meetings. Requirements Proven paralegal experience with a strong understanding of procedural law and litigation support practices. Familiarity with multiple practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, immigration law, and general & commercial litigation. Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis; experience with legal case management software like iManage or PCLaw is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft clear legal documents and communicate effectively with clients and team members. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and familiarity with document review systems. Ability to handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining professionalism at all times. Experience supporting attorneys with administrative tasks such as filing court documents accurately and managing client correspondence. Knowledge of project management principles as they relate to legal workflows; detail-oriented with excellent proofreading abilities.
