Bankruptcy Full Job Description Bankruptcy Paralegal Location:
Amarillo, TX 79101 About the Role In order to support our growing firm, we are seeking a Bankruptcy Paralegal to work closely with members of our legal team. The ideal candidate will be an organized and detail-oriented professional with extensive experience in bankruptcy law. Responsibilities Assist attorneys in preparing and filing bankruptcy petitions, schedules, and related documents. Manage case files and maintain accurate records. Communicate effectively with clients, creditors, and court personnel. Coordinate deadlines and manage time efficiently to ensure timely filings. Utilize computer software to draft documents, manage data, and maintain correspondence. Support the legal team with research and administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years' experience as a bankruptcy paralegal; 5-7 years of legal experience preferred. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent typing skills and telephone etiquette. Proven ability to manage data and maintain organized case files. Exceptional time management skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively within a legal team environment.
