The Paralegal will provide a broad spectrum of legal services under the supervision of an attorney. Responsibilities Provide administrative support to lawyer and enhance office effectiveness Handle communication with clients, witnesses etc. Manage client interaction to facilitate communication. Locate and develop relevant case information Type up and file basic legal documents and correspondence Assist team in gathering documents from clients Answer and direct phone calls Maintain contact lists Monitor deadlines and juggle calendars Translations (In-office and Out-of-Office) Draft basic forms (waiver of service, notice of hearings, request for citation, etc.) Qualifications & Skills Excellent customer service skills Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel; Adobe Acrobat) Proficiency in English and Spanish Excellent secretarial and organizational skills Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure 3 or more years' experience as a legal assistant (preferred) experience with divorces, SAPCR's, custody, child support, modification and enforcement matters (preferred)
