In-Office Position Overview A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal to provide comprehensive support throughout all phases of the litigation process. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced legal environment. Responsibilities Conduct client interviews and assist with gathering case-related information. Prepare initial drafts of pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents. Assist attorneys throughout all phases of civil litigation. Maintain case files and manage case-related administrative tasks. Calendar hearings, deadlines, depositions, mediations, and conferences. Communicate with clients, medical providers, and other parties to obtain and verify case information. Request, organize, and review medical records and follow up to ensure files are complete and accurate. Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices. Prepare hearing, deposition, mediation, and trial notebooks and exhibits. Assist with electronic filing in state and federal courts. Manage multiple deadlines and case priorities efficiently. Provide general administrative and litigation support as needed. Work collaboratively with attorneys and other members of the legal team. Occasionally work overtime when required by case deadlines or litigation schedules. Qualifications Prior experience as a litigation paralegal . Working knowledge of civil litigation procedures, pleadings, motions, discovery, court rules, and legal documentation. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint . Experience with electronic filing in state and federal courts. Professional, proactive, and detail-oriented approach to supporting attorneys and clients.
