A Paralegal or Legal Assistant assists attorneys and law offices with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to legal research and writing. Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Immigration and Criminal Defense encompass our main practice areas. Currently we have openings for bilingual legal assistant to audit specific paralegal responsibilities!
Responsibilities:
  • Translate from Spanish to English and English to Spanish for our Attorney team
  • Communicate with clients in Spanish and English
  • Audit paralegal packages, deadlines, court notes prior to it reaching attorneys and management teams
  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies and interdepartmental coordination
  • Printer and equipment maintenance
  • Conduct Deadline Audits and ensure compliance
  • Handle Escalations and promote
Customer Service Requirements:
  • Must be 100% fluent in Spanish and English
  • Proven experience in office or auditor settings
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Strong training development skills
