This is a flexible role. The right candidate may come from an administrative background, be working toward a paralegal certificate, or already have paralegal experience. What matters most is that you are organized, professional, and genuinely interested in estate planning work. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for our clients across estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the front desk and phones, scheduling and maintaining attorney calendars, greeting and onboarding clients, drafting documents and correspondence, scanning and organizing files, preparing for client meetings and hearings, and assembling original estate planning document packets and secure copies for our clients. You will also serve as a witness during estate planning signings and assist with keeping all case files current and well-organized. An ideal candidate would also be comfortable taking on more advanced responsibilities such as preparing and electronically filing legal documents with courts and the Secretary of State, recording deed filings, billing time and expenses, filing original wills at courthouses. Exceptional client service, business etiquette, and interpersonal skills are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. In this role, you will communicate directly with clients to answer non-legal questions, convey information, and handle confidential matters with discretion. Must be able to multitask with a high level of attention to detail, willing to learn new software, proficient in MS Office and Adobe, proactively anticipate and resolve issues, and be very organized and self-motivated. Basic Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Strong organizational skills and professional communication. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Genuine interest in estate planning, trusts, or legal services.
Paralegal Applicants-Preferred Requirements:
Associate degree with Texas Paralegal Certificate OR Bachelor's Degree with completed coursework in paralegal studies program. Preference to applicants who have electives in wills, trusts, or estates. 2+ years of paralegal experience.
