Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support legal practices, specifically in the areas of Probate and Estate Planning. The ideal candidate will be energized by meticulous document management and providing exceptional administrative support to attorneys and clients alike. This position is designed for individuals eager to grow their legal expertise in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Duties Assist attorneys with case preparation. Draft, review, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, contracts, discovery requests, and correspondence with meticulous attention to detail. Manage case files and document review processes utilizing document management system; ensure confidentiality and accuracy at all times. Support project management efforts by coordinating deadlines, scheduling client interviews, and tracking case progress efficiently. Handle client communication professionally via phone and written correspondence; maintain positive relationships with clients and external partners. Qualifications Proven experience as a paralegal or legal assistant. Excellent research skills with the ability to synthesize complex information clearly and accurately. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with exceptional legal writing and drafting skills. Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Effective communication skills—both verbal and written—with professional phone etiquette and client interaction experience.
