This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop foundational skills across personal injury litigation. Assist attorneys with legal research using platforms like LexisNexis and Westlaw to gather pertinent case law, statutes, and regulations across diverse practice areas such as personal injury law and immigration law Prepare and review legal documents including contracts, pleadings, discovery materials, and correspondence with meticulous attention to detail. Manage case files and organize documents efficiently within document management systems like Filevine Intake of new cases, client communications. Conduct thorough document review, proofreading, transcription, and data entry to support case development and litigation processes. Support administrative tasks such as filing, organizing client records, scheduling appointments, and maintaining calendars with strong organizational skills. Assist in client interviews by taking detailed notes and preparing summaries for attorney review. Collaborate on various projects involving legal research, document drafting, and case management to enhance overall workflow. Prior experience or internship in a law office or legal administrative setting is highly preferred. Strong familiarity with legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis. Knowledge of civil personal injury law. Proficiency in legal drafting, proofreading, transcription, and document review with excellent attention to detail. Experience with case management software such as Filevine is a plus. Excellent organizational skills combined with effective phone etiquette and clerical experience. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy under deadlines. Strong communication skills for interviewing clients and collaborating within the team. Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough legal research and support complex projects through data entry and document management systems.
