We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Immigration Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our legal team. In this role, you will provide essential support across various areas of immigration law, ensuring smooth case management and effective communication with clients and attorneys. Duties Assist attorneys with preparing Immigration Court cases. Monitor deadlines, hearing dates, and case updates. Meet with clients to gather detailed information, verify documents, and assess eligibility for various immigration programs. Prepare applications and other court filings with precision and clarity. Support attorneys with general administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, managing client communications, and maintaining organized case records. Requirements Experience with EOIR and/or USCIS is highly favored Fluency in Spanish (reading, writing, speaking) required Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and legal drafting purposes. Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while demonstrating professionalism in all interactions. Strong project management skills combined with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and process improvement.
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
