Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive administrative and legal support, ensuring smooth case management and efficient operations. Duties Manage and organize legal documents using document management systems such as MyCase, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.. Assist with drafting legal documents, contracts, pleadings, and correspondence with precision and clarity. Support attorneys in case management activities such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized case files for litigation or transactional matters. Schedule appointments, coordinate client interviews, and handle client communication with professionalism and courtesy. Prepare transcripts, proofread legal documents, and perform document review to ensure compliance with procedural law requirements. Provide executive administrative support by managing calendars, answering phones with excellent etiquette, and handling confidential information securely. Skills Proficiency in legal case management software such as MyCase or similar software is preferred. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong written communication skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; excellent proofreading abilities. Adept at handling confidential information with discretion; experienced in managing multiple projects simultaneously. Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for document processing and data entry; proficient in Word processing and transcription tasks. Effective interviewing techniques to gather relevant case information; solid understanding of procedural law to support litigation processes. Demonstrated experience in legal administrative tasks such as filing, document review, client communication, and clerical support. Excellent phone etiquette combined with professional interpersonal skills; capable of supporting attorneys with executive administrative duties. Pay:
$30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
