Onsite role. The ideal candidate has legal office experience and thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven claims environment. Key Responsibilities n Handle pre litigation cases from onset, from pre-suit through litigation, including high-exposure files n Maintain accurate, organized, and audit-ready litigation and claims files n Track and manage litigation deadlines, including discovery responses, depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation milestones. n Coordinate closely with medical providers, attorneys, and outside plaintiff and defense counsel. Legal Documentation & File Management n Open and set up files n Correspondence and status reports n Settlement and mediation documentation n Organize and summarize medical records, billing, wage loss documentation, and accident materials n Prepare medical summaries, demand analyses support, and file chronologies. Operational Support n Assist with e-filing, document production, and exhibit preparation. n Coordinate vendors such as court reporters, record retrieval services, and expert witnesses as needed. n Ensure claim and litigation documentation aligns with internal best practices, regulatory expectations, and litigation strategy. Required Qualifications n 1+ years of legal office experience n Demonstrated experience working independently n Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously. n Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and document management systems. n Comfortable working onsite in a collaborative claims and litigation environment. Preferred Qualifications n Bilingual (English / Spanish) - preferred n Experience supporting Texas auto liability litigation (venue awareness, discovery workflows, trial prep). n Familiarity with subrogation, high-volume BI litigation, or complex exposure files. n Paralegal certificate or degree (ABA-approved program preferred).
