Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

WACO AND GATESVILLE LOCATIONS ARE OPEN FOR GENERAL PRACTICE PARALEGALS
- We will keep your application confidential if you are currently working as a paralegal. We are a small boutique law firm needing an
EXPERIENCED CIVIL LITIGATION, PROBATE, GUARDIANSHIP, ESTATE
PLANNING, (CRIMINAL and
FAMILY LAW
a plus) paralegal. You must be able to prepare and draft letters, documents, forms, have knowledge of TXDocs, Wordperfect,, Word, Clio, and discovery experience. You should have the ability to prepare trial notebooks, do witness interviews, maintain a docket and active client list and work directly with clients and our attorneys. You should know what documents are needed before a hearing. You should be able to bill your time. You must have reliable transportation, appropriate office appearance, be friendly, able to speak and write professionally, and show up
EVERYDAY
ready to work. We expect you to be a team player, yet able to work independently, be self-directed, and motivated. We only maintain the most skilled paralegals, that can multitask and get the job done without constant direction and supervision. We are prepared to pay top dollar to the right person. This is an in office high end position. Full time hires are offered firm paid health insurance, & 401K retirement with matching 3% after first year, we give all holidays, plus vacation, & sick days.
