Job Description

Strong and Hanni Law Firm Legal Administrative Assistant Strong and Hanni is seeking a professional experienced Legal Administrative Assistant. This position will provide secretarial/administrative support for one of our insurance litigation practice groups. Seeking a candidate that is dependable, who has a consistent work schedule, a strong work ethic, and has demonstrated a history of working efficiently in a confidential legal environment. This is a full-time, in-office position located in our Sandy, Utah office. Established in 1888, Strong and Hanni is one of Utah's most respected and experienced law firms. Strong and Hanni is well known for its trial practice both in state and federal court along with its business and personal legal services including commercial litigation, corporate and commercial representation, general business, securities, tax, employment law, construction law, governmental liability, family law, product liability, professional liability and much more. Strong and Hanni with its 95 attorneys is proud of its service to its clients and its reputation in the legal community.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Accurate preparation of legal documents. Responsible for all legal correspondence to clients, witnesses, and court officials. Schedule, calendar, set up conference rooms and confirm appointments. Drafting and typing office letters, memos, etc. Mail, scan, and e-file documents. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
This position requires a thorough understanding of legal administration. Must have legal experience, skills and knowledge in relevant filings, e-filings, briefs, maintaining files, calendaring and legal rules. Excellent communication, oral and written. Ability to accurately draft documents using correct formatting and error free punctuation and grammar. Have strong organizational and "follow up" skills. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and document management systems. E- filing experience. Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant preferred.
Expected Schedule:
full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 hour day between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm. Some flexibility can be arranged.
