You'll work primarily on preparing submissions for USCIS across a broad range of case types — this is a great role for someone who wants meaningful, high-impact work and thrives in a busy, fast-paced office.
Job Description:
Prepare and process USCIS filings across case types including
DACA, VAWA, U
Visas, and Adjustment of Status, etc. Conduct in-person and virtual client interviews Manage a multi-line phone system — screening, answering, and routing calls Communicate clearly and accurately with clients in person, by phone, and by email Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence Maintain an organized and up-to-date case filing system
Job Requirements:
Fluent, professional-level Spanish and English (written and verbal) — required, and will be assessed during the interview 2-4 years of experience as an immigration paralegal or legal assistant, ideally at a nonprofit, immigration firm, or public interest law firm Solid working knowledge of immigration processes and multiple case types Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask in a high-volume environment A proactive, resourceful approach to problem-solving Comfort with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Gmail/Google Calendar, and standard office equipment High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred A genuine passion for immigration legal work and a friendly, service-oriented attitude DACA recipients and candidates with current employment authorization are strongly encouraged to apply.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm (40 hours/week, 8-hour shifts)
