Job Description

Harman Claytor Corrigan & Wellman, a Richmond, VA based firm is seeking a Legal Assistant to join our team. We are committed to excellence in legal services and are looking for an experienced professional to contribute to our success.
Responsibilities:
  • Calendaring and docketing to ensure timely case management.
  • Preparation and editing of pleadings, discovery, and correspondence.
  • Filing pleadings with federal and state courts.
  • Organizing and managing both paper and electronic files.
  • Administrative duties to support attorneys and enhance office efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • 2 years of civil litigation experience.
  • Proficient in federal and state court filings and procedures.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take direction, and collaborate as a team player.
  • Excellent people skills and enthusiasm for tasks at hand.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and document management software.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work product.
Salary & Benefits:
  • Discretionary performance bonus in addition to base salary.
