Job Description:
Seeking applicants for employment as a Paralegal/Legal Case manager. Candidates
MUST BE ABLE TO
work independently and have excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong organizational and time management skills.
Key Responsibilities Case Management & Documentation:
Prepare and file various immigration applications, petitions, and supporting documents with government • state agencies
Client Communication:
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, conducting interviews to gather information, providing case status updates, and explaining complex legal processes in both
English and Spanish Translation & Interpretation:
Translate legal documents, foreign documents, and correspondence accurately and provide interpretation during client meetings and interviews.
Legal Support:
Assist attorneys in case management, legal research, fact investigation, and trial/interview preparation.
File Maintenance:
Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date client files, both physical and electronic, ensuring all documentation is complete and confidential.
Deadline Management:
Monitor case status and deadlines to ensure all responses and filings are submitted in a timely manner.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant.
Language Fluency:
Required:
Fluent in
English Technical Proficiency:
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with legal case management software
