Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. This vital role involves providing comprehensive administrative support across a wide range of legal practice areas, ensuring smooth operations and efficient case management. The ideal candidate will possess strong research skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a proactive attitude to handle complex legal documentation and client communications with professionalism and confidentiality. Responsibilities Manage and maintain legal case files using document management system Practice Panther. Draft, review, and proofread legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and clarity. Assist with client communication by scheduling appointments, preparing interview questions for clients or witnesses, and handling sensitive information discreetly. Support legal processes through document review, data entry, filing, and organizing evidence for cases. Coordinate project management tasks related to ongoing cases or legal initiatives to ensure deadlines are met efficiently. Provide executive administrative support by managing calendars, preparing reports, handling phone inquiries with professional etiquette, and maintaining organized filing systems. Experience Experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate. Demonstrated knowledge of procedural law and familiarity with law office software , including Word processing tools (Microsoft Office), Outlook, Adobe and document review platforms, and case management systems like Practice Panther. Experience handling confidential information with integrity while maintaining meticulous attention to detail in document drafting and proofreading. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and professional correspondence.
