Position Summary:
As a Paralegal, you will play a pivotal role in supporting attorneys with case preparation, document management, and ensuring compliance with Washington State regulations. This position is ideal for a professional with 3-5 years of experience who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and analysis to support attorneys in corporate law, litigation, real estate, and civil law cases. Draft, review, and organize legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence. Manage case files, ensuring compliance with Washington State regulations and deadlines. Assist in preparing for hearings, trials, and client meetings by organizing exhibits, evidence, and case summaries. Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to facilitate case progress. Monitor changes in Washington State laws and regulations relevant to the firm's practice areas. Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest ethical standards in all interactions.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably in corporate law, litigation, real estate, or civil law. Strong knowledge of Washington State legal procedures, regulations, and court systems. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and case management software. Experience with Relativity, iManage, or similar systems is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Paralegal certification or equivalent education required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Why Join This Opportunity?
