We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Paralegal to support our attorneys in a fast-paced, yet friendly work-environment. www.quicklawgrouppllc.com Responsibilities Produce legal documents, letters, and pleadings such as complaints, interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, legal briefs, and affidavits under the supervision of a lawyer Assist lawyers with trial preparation by organizing exhibits, aiding with client meetings, submitting motions, researching legal publications, and coordinating witnesses Order, review, and summarize medical records for preparing factual responses to discovery Organize our case filing systems so that everything is properly categorized and simple to find, as well as perform other administrative tasks as necessary Manage attorney calendar, including tracking litigation deadlines Arrange depositions including coordinating schedules, preparing notices, scheduling reporter and videographer. Gather information from clients, experts, and vendors Track and arrange for funding of costs associated with litigation Provide support to attorneys during trial preparation and trial Other duties as assigned Skills/Job Specifications Must have10 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer, preferably in a personal injury law firm Familiarity with legal procedures, protocol, and court systems Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint), Adobe Acrobat, and NEOS/Needles Case Management software Outstanding organized, and comfortable working under a deadline Strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills Attention to detail with ability to multi-task Willingness to learn and exhibit flexibility Ability to work together as part of team as well as work independently
