Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description

Landlord-tenant attorney (landlord advocate) looking to add a full-time legal assistant. Fun small office atmosphere with a pet loving, family-oriented group looking to add another team player. You must have the following minimum requirements: 3+ years of eviction experience in Pierce, King, Kitsap, and Thurston Counties; solid working knowledge of the eviction process; familiarity with mandatory pleadings and e-filing, including working copies; experience with clients with legal issues and willingness to answer their same questions repeatedly; excellent computer skills with knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and Word; experience with Clio is a plus; able to work independently; exceptional organizational skills; and exceptional attention to detail. Does not hurt applicant to enjoy sports, rock-n-roll, and country music.

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
