Training period will be on-site in Green Bay or La Crosse, WI. Following this period, the role will shift to a hybrid format, with on-site attendance required 1-2 days a week. Candidates can reside in either Green Bay or La Crosse. Emplify Health is seeking a talented and experienced paralegal to join our legal team. This in-house paralegal position offers a dynamic and rewarding role where you can make a meaningful impact within a leading healthcare organization. What you'll do: Collaborate closely with attorneys in the legal department. Provide comprehensive legal advice and assistance on a wide range of issues. Support compliance, contractual, corporate, employment, and labor matters. Address medical malpractice, risk management, and patient care legal issues. Handle consent, termination of care, and other critical legal aspects related to healthcare. Conduct research and provide thorough analysis to support patient-related legal questions and concerns. What you'll need:
Education:
Associate degree in Paralegal or Bachelor of Science with major in paralegal studies
Experience:
3-4 years minimum of related work experience
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge and experience working on contractual, corporate, employment, health, medical malpractice, litigation, and other like matters for health care organizations in either Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, or Wisconsin Ideal skills: Real estate experience

Flexible work location:
While this role offers some flexibility in work location, candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of La Crosse or Green Bay, WI due to on-site needs. In addition, candidates must reside in WI, MN, IA, or MI at the time of hire.
