Part-Time Legal Assistant Janesville, WI Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Legal Assistant to join their team in Janesville. This position offers approximately 20 hours per week with flexibility in scheduling for the right candidate. This is a temp-to-hire position. We are looking for an individual who has previous experience working in a law office as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or Legal Secretary, or someone with strong administrative experience, exceptional organizational skills, and a high level of attention to detail. Responsibilities Prepare, edit, and organize legal documents and correspondence Maintain client files and case records Schedule appointments, meetings, and court-related dates Answer phones and communicate professionally with clients and other parties Manage incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and documents Perform data entry and general administrative support Assist attorneys with day-to-day office and case management responsibilities Qualifications Previous legal office experience preferred but not required Strong administrative and organizational skills High attention to detail and accuracy Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle confidential information professionally Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office technology Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Compensation $22.00 to $28.00 per hour , depending on experience Candidates with previous legal office experience may qualify for compensation at the higher end of the range Schedule Part-time position Approximately 20 hours per week Flexible schedule available If you are organized, dependable, and enjoy working in a professional office environment, we encourage you to apply.
