Job Description
HIRING A PARALEGAL / FRONT DESK COORDINATOR
Corthell and King Law Office, a general-practice law firm, is hiring an experienced paralegal to join our growing team of 4 attorneys, 1 paralegal, and a support staff.This is a dual role:
you will provide substantive paralegal support across our caseload and serve as the first point of contact for clients at our front desk. We're looking for someone who takes pride in accurate legal work and makes a great first impression on the people who walk through our door. Paralegal & Case Support- Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings
- Manage case files from intake through closing, including deadlines and document organization
- Coordinate and maintain attorneys' calendars, hearings, and appointments
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff
- E-file and hand-file documents with Wyoming state and federal courts Front Desk & Administrative Support
- Welcome clients and visitors and serve as the face of the firm
- Answer and route phone calls
- Process payments and issue receipts
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, photocopying, scanning, and data entry Qualifications
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent hands-on experience is preferred
- 1+ years in a professional office setting (legal, medical, or financial)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general office equipment
- Comfortable moving between substantive legal work and front-desk responsibilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain client confidentiality
- Professional attitude and appearance
