SafeParc Parking Solutions Pay:

$16 per hour

Schedule:

Part-time, about 17 hours per week. Tuesday 10 AM to 12 PM and 3 PM to 8 PM, Friday 5 PM to 10 PM, Saturday 5 PM to 10 PM. Evening and weekend availability required.

Location:

Downtown Vero Beach. Home base is the Arbor Center lot (2070 15th Ave) with occasional stops at two other SafeParc lots in Vero Beach.

ABOUT THE ROLE

SafeParc manages paid parking for property owners across Florida using ParkDNA, a license plate recognition and pay-by-phone platform. We are hiring our first dedicated Parking Enforcement Officer for the Vero Beach market. This is a hospitality-first position. You are the person on the ground who greets drivers, answers questions, walks people through paying or validating, and keeps the lots running smoothly. Enforcement is one tool in the job, not the whole job.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Walk the lots and verify payment compliance using the EnforceDNA app on your phone, issuing parking notices only when clearly warranted
• Help customers pay, validate through participating businesses, and understand which spaces are paid and which are free city spaces
• Handle complaints calmly on the spot and route anything you can't resolve to your supervisor the same day
• Keep lots presentable: pick up trash and debris, report damaged signage, and flag hazards with photos
• Observe traffic patterns, occupancy, and driver confusion and report anything significant
• Occasionally pick up hardware or supplies from a nearby hardware store for minor signage repairs (purchases are reimbursed)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong customer service instincts. Calm, friendly, and professional even when someone is upset
• Comfortable walking and standing outdoors for several hours at a time in Florida weather
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for travel between lots
• Smartphone with the ability to install and use work apps
• Clean, well-groomed appearance and willingness to follow SafeParc uniform standards (company branded polo with shirt tucked in, black or khaki pants, black shoes, black belt)
• Drug-free and violence-free workplace policies apply
• Prior parking, security, hospitality, or customer-facing experience is a plus but not required

• Direct daily support from the Operations Supervisor
• Additional hours and locations expected as the market grows
