3rd Shift Parking Security Associate City of Grand Rapids Mobile GR Grand Rapids, MI Job Details Part-time | Contract $20 - $24 an hour 23 hours ago Qualifications Customer service Driver's License Full Job Description We are seeking to hire Parking Security Associates for the City of Grand Rapids. This job is very flexible for folks with a school schedule. This is also a great way to get a start in public service and government. This position will assist visitors and residents in the city's parking ramps and lots. Responsible for helping customers navigate the parking process in a variety of ways, with a heavy focus on problem-solving and customer service. Responsibilities include but are not limited: Helping to direct traffic within parking facilities during special events Counting vehicles in the parking ramps or lots to determine occupancy Making rounds in a city vehicle or on foot to ensure safe conditions in parking ramps/lots Providing jump starts, providing air in low tires, lock-out services within the municipality's parking ramps and lots. Preparing written and oral reports if an incident occurs in ramps/lots Helping to maintain parking equipment. Requirements Valid driver license Must be at least 21 years of age.
