Overview We are seeking a dedicated and professional Parking Enforcement Officer to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining order and safety in parking areas, ensuring compliance with parking regulations, and providing excellent customer service to the public. The ideal candidate will possess strong conflict management skills. A background in law enforcement or security is desired but not necessary. The hours for this position are Monday -

Friday:

8 am to 4 pm. Responsibilities Monitor parking areas to ensure compliance with local parking regulations. Issue citations for violations and document incidents accurately. Provide assistance to the public regarding parking rules and regulations. Respond to inquiries and resolve conflicts in a calm and professional manner. Prepare detailed reports on violations, incidents, and daily activities. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary. Maintain a visible presence to deter illegal parking behaviors. Experience Previous experience in law enforcement or security is preferred but not necessary. Conflict management skills to handle difficult situations effectively is neccessary. Excellent customer service skills to assist the public courteously required. Above average report writing skills for documenting incidents and activities needed. Ability to work independently while adhering to established policies and procedures a must.
