Probation and Court Services Summary The Champaign County Probation and Court Services Department is accepting applications to fill the vacancy for a Court Services Officer in the Adult Probation Division. Duties and Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to as other duties may be assigned: Supervision and case management of clients. Court report writing. Appearances in court. Conducting interviews and assessments. Collaboration with providers, agencies, families, employers, and schools. Qualifications Successful completion of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Must be a United States citizen. Must be a resident of Illinois within 90 days of appointment. Successfully pass a background check. Must possess a valid driver's license. Compensation The starting salary for Court Services Officer – Adult Probation is $47,911.50 annually.
Note:
The starting salary is set by a Collective Bargaining Unit Agreement with the Fraternal Order of Police and is not subject to change. Experienced candidates with prior employment as a Probation Officer may be eligible to start at a higher rate of pay based on their experience.
